re: MBA Tulane/LSU

PE, Venture Capital, or some sort of management position within corporate banking. Not a plethora of positions in New Orleans right now in any of those roles.

No specific industry or job - rather seeking a designation that would open doors otherwise not available.
Project management, venture capital, or a high level of investment capital (banks) is most appealing - I imagine it necessary to get into those areas with a MBA. If not, leveraging the MBA into a management position.
What were your hours like with EMBA? That a two and a half year program?

MBA Tulane/LSU

Outside of the MBA Businessweek ranking difference (Tulane is top 75 and LSU NR), any experience with either of these programs?
Looking into MBA would be a good personal professional move at this point.
Any experience with executive or full time?
Roughly 7 years of professional experience (will be 29 at YE). 2.5 years at big 4 accounting. 3.5 years private company handling all finance and accounting duties.
Don't need income or housing to survive if going full time.
Just want to know if going full time is drastically better or if executive or part-time is just as good. Likewise, which program would you recommend if at all.

re: Say you recieved $200,000 cash inheritance....

Figure out your tax burden for inheritance, put that aside to cover tax liability.
Pay off all high interest debt (credit cards or unsecured loans).
With remaining amount, if its enough to buy a house to your liking, pay cash. If not figure 35% of your total gross income as a monthly payment - find house that fits that cost and pay 20% down.
If you have anything left over, Vegas/Macau/Monaco. Fly first class - its nicer than the cattle ranch in the back.

Home Bank. Reno property, get tenant to sign lease, get security deposit in check or cash, take to the bank and close the deal. Rate will be 1/1.5 points higher than LIBOR.
Currently have properties having done exactly the above and a number in the past.
You could also shop a broker. Nola Lending on Oak St in Nola, highly recommend.

ERP Consultants / Solutions

Looking for recommendations on consulting groups in the New Orleans/BR metro that assist/license ERP systems. Google has a decent list but the reviews are spotty.
Company has grown out of QB's and need a more robust accounting and reporting package that can handle 15+ eliminating entities.

Couple of things here, I have several watches I rotate depending on the necessity. Hublot is my favorite brand of watch primarily due to the fact not many people wear them. You can find a very nice Big Bang steel within your price range. I have a Big Bang Black Magic 44 and its a fantastic time piece. For flying, rolex GMT II or the Brietling Navtimer both fantastic pieces. Last is the Cartier Rhonde Solo. That is the dress up watch.
First pick out what you need. Everyday watch - Rolex/Breitling/Omega simple time piece. But if you want Chorno/Complicated you just increased the cost
Check out Jomashop.com also if you walk into any store (Lee Michaels, Aucoin, tourneau, etc) just tell them upfront you want to try on watches to see what you like best. Never tell them you've made up your mind or else you'll never hear the end of it from them.

Golftec just behind the mall on Causeway.
Not sure about the teaching quality but City Park driving range is huge.
If you have a connection to Metairie CC, Dave Marchand is an old pro with solid game

I have played for 20 years. I'm 27. Took me all of 12-14 years to get into single digits. Played 4 years in college, around a 1/2 handicap. I'm 4 years removed and am a +2.6. Essentially, what you're experiencing is the hardest part of the game. I recommend chipping and putting as much as possible. Don't listen to anyone that says you should work on your other clubs.
Putting is the only difference between 10 and 7 handicaps, same number of birdie chances just higher odds of making the putt.
