I mean Vogel is unemployed, but I think most would have him at or above Spoelstra's level regardless.

Yeah Spoelstra is in or on the immediate outskirts of the Top 5. I know I'm leaving out Rivers but I don't get the love there.

At the end of the day, the "best" coaches in the NBA are ALWAYS surrounded by the best talent. Always has been and always will be. Everyone thinks Pop is the best, but we really don't know when you have the luxury of his 3 players being replaced by Leonard and Aldridge going forward. Phil Jackson had Jordan and Kobe.

Vogel is clearly a very good coach, but he's made some head scratching decisions late in games (e.g., taking out Hibbert late against the Heat is the most obvious example). I think Spo is a better in-game coach than Vogel.
