Employees. McD is ratchet as frick.

Canes or Chick-fil-a?
You know why you get better service at these establishments. They employ young people that are using the job as a stepping stone and not a career.
A kid with higher goals is capable of being polite and doing a good job. A 30 year old at McDonalds knows that is the end of the line and simply gives no shits.

This was several years ago, but I was told by someone who did business with several BK chains that he appreciates their business, but he has rarely experienced a clean kitchen in the BKs he visited. That's not saying all are that way, but...

I saw a sign on a burger king window the other day for chicken fries rings. I am not sure how you make chicken look like an onion ring.

WTF does ratchet mean in this context?
The new "fetch"?
Then again, I felt the same way about "baw". Had to give up that fight.

I'd rather eat Wendy's, Jack in the Box, or Whataburger or something before going to either of the two biggest chains
(That's if BK is even that big anymore)
Wendy's edged ahead of BK a good while ago, 2012 or 2013. For a lot of good reasons. They're generally cleaner, quieter, have better folks working and the food at least tastes "fresher" then either BK or McDonald's. I really only eat fast food very occasionally or when traveling, but I do travel a lot still.

Not so. If they hired young kids that want to work. See my post above. In-N-Out is the same. You can't expect some single mother of 4, working for a poverty wage, to be polite.

Agreed. I actually like the whopper and chicken fries, but it's probably been two years since I've been to Burger King. They just seem so nasty and sketchy outside of being "ratchet".

False.

I am not someone who is out to fight racism or anything like that, but when comments like this are made, it just makes one sound like an idiot. Are you telling me you always get great customer service when white people serve you and horrible service when a black person services you? I know I have had good and bad from both races, however; when it happens to people like you, when someone black gives you bad service, the simple excuse is "they are black".

It's funny you say it like that. I grew up in a McDonalds family and my childhood best friend (still my best friend) loves[ed] Burger King. I never even thought to go there, but it was always her first choice. If we are talking strictly burgers, I can't stand theirs. She doesn't like burgers in general, though, so that explains why she likes BK and Jack in the Box over places like Whataburger.

Sorry, but uniformly bland chicken gets old real quick.. Texas toast is the only thing worth a damn.

Canes and Chic-fil-a can fill the orders of 10 cars in the drive thru before BK can get your order correct on the screen.

It is odd how Burger King went from best service to 2nd to last. Popeye's owns the crown for worst service nationwide.
I must be lucky. The Popeyes near my house has friendly, very efficient employees. Now, whenever I go to the one that I used to live near in Metry...MUCH different story. Also, I have a much harder time understanding the NOLA baby momma version of English than I do the local "south of the border" version in LV.

You youngsters probably never saw Burger King at their peak with their "Have It Your Way" motto.
I completely agree with this. BK back then was far and away better than it is now.
