You replaced the rocker arms?

How did you flush the engine?

I had my top end replaced in my 2010 5.3l Silverado at 45k snd immediately did the tune for AFM delete and am at 109k no problems yet, however I've already decided when this motor goes im moving to a crate 6.2. I love my truck hate it's a slug.

I'm in Shreveport so Dallas is about 2-1/2 hrs.

It wasn't bad. Dropping the oil pan was probably overkill looking back.

Im going to change the oil (possibly use a heavier oil), spray carb cleaner through the push rods onto the lifters, add some seafoam and possibly flush the engine.

Go to a heavier oil and the any hope of getting Chevy to pay is out the window. Take you truck to a mechanic you can trust (like AGCO), and don't waist money/time trying to save money. A correct diagnosis and repair will cost you the least in the long run.
