his contract said he'd be in the top 3 if he won the NC. He's looking like he'll do that and that's probably more money than the deal made before the SECCG. They'll have to go back and bump some numbers.

According to the current deal, his pay just got bumped to Top 3 in the SEC by virtue of winning the league title.
Considering that Saban's making $4 million a year at Bama, Meyer's making $3.25 million a year at Florida, and Tuberville is currently making $2.6 million at Auburn (this is before he signs his amended contract there), it means that Miles is guaranteed no less than $2.6 million a year for the remainder of his contract.
If he wins the BCS title, he's guaranteed to make no less than the #3 overall salary, which would be Bob Stoops at $3.45 million.

and its not on hold. O'keefe and bertman are not on the same page...O'keefe has been handling most everything.

"I hope he stays an awful long time," Bertman said. "He's not just a good coach; he's a good person. He does things right. He's very humble and noble, a good family man. I'm glad he's our coach."
I don't know about you guys but this quote just makes me think it has to be an indirect slight at Saban and all of the "money jack arse boosters" that wanted him back supposedly.

LSU football coach Les Miles’ contract will be finalized this week through an agreement that “only amends” his current deal, Chancellor Sean O’Keefe emphasized on Monday.

Anybody else think it's time to give Skip his gold watch, his pension, and his farewell party? He's done a great job, but clearly the Chancellor and the President have moved on.
