Not sure Johnny Whole Staff can start two days in a row on an SEC weekend. Unless Poche shakes his problems, things could get ugly. I have zero confidence in the bullpen to throw strikes.

they seem to be trending up. keep your fingers crossed. confidence is something missing in LSU fans and most likely PM and Dunn also (not to mention the pitchers themselves)

What was overlooked in the opossum hysteria game were Austin Bain (5.40 ERA) and Riley Smith (16.20 ERA), who each threw 2 innings of shut out ball (5 Ks between them).
Those guys had not been effective at all this year. When Mainieri put them in, I thought he had conceded the game and was keeping other relievers fresh for Sunday.
Yet those 4 innings kept us in the game for the comeback win.
