Cheapest place to find plane tickets?

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but does anyone have any tips/tricks? I've heard people say clear your search history/cookies while looking around. Also heard to look for Vegas as the final destination, with your stop being the layover. Better to go through these 3rd party websites, or directly through the airlines?

If you search the same site twice it will absolutely go up in price if you don't delete cookies/cache/history. Kayak does this for sure.

I always buy directly from the airlines' websites. When using Travelocity, Orbitz, Cheap Tickets, etc, you have to be very careful of the fare classifications. You have more rights and flexibility in my experience when dealing directly with the airlines if there are any problems. I would use the ticket consolidator websites only to get an idea of the fares.

One of cuse Tigers methods is Google.
Just put airportcode to airportcode in the box.

Google Flights is good, I like skyscanner as well. The only negative with skyscanner is that it doesn't allow for Multi-City travel searches.
