I'm hoping to develop a thread where some of you more knowledgable beer people can contribute, if possible, as googling doesn't seem to produce much results.

While "Bottled on" dates make buying IPAs easy, some breweries will use "Enjoy By" dates, without timeframe, others some code, like Lagunitas, and others appear to have none. Others might put a sticker on top of a 6-er or 4-er of cans, and hopefully it stays on.

So for the sake of discussion, and my personal seeking of information, below is a list and if either of you beer insiders would be willing to give info, I'll update in this OP.

Enjoy By Date Breweries (how many days factored?):

Alpine
Green Flash
Uinta
Stone (I think 90 days?)
Victory
Boulevard (uses a packaged Julian date also)
So Pro: 120 Days
Abita
Bear Republic: 180 days
Deschutes: 120 days
Breckinridge:
Full Sail: 120 days
Lazy Magnolia
Odell: 120 days
Real Ale
Santa Fe: 120 days
Sixpoint
Sweetwater
Terrapin: 180 days

No Date on Cans/Bottles:

Nebraska Brewing
Cedar Creek (I see a sticker every now and then, anything else, date on case only?)
Buffalo Bayou (Same as Cedar Creek)
Epic: Release number that can be traced on their website

Thanks in advance to any info y'all can provide.

One of the mavens on here had an un-scientific formula of taking a 132 days off the enjoy by date to caculate the born on date..

I think it was 132?

I'm pretty sure Alpine is six months out for the enjoy-by.

I didn't see them in Jax's link.

Its the stupid fricking Julian dates, Prarie does this also. where it will be year, number of the day, and then another number for brewer only purposes. So today The 127th day of the year 2016 would be 16127## with the last 2 being some random numbers for the breweries.
