That is what he's supposed to do. He wasn't the AD or President.
You can argue his morality but he did what he was supposed to do.

That defense is awful and reeks of his probable involvement of the whole disgusting deal.

Holy shite people actually buy this

Ill need more evidence than a single line in an insurance claim. It's easy to throw dirt on people who can't speak for the claims made against them. Also why wasn't this released back then or in 2012? I'm calling bs til it's corroborated by multiple sources.

Has Sandusky been knocked off yet?
Posted on 5/5/16 at 7:24 pm to Mr Personality
I can't even begin to describe how sad and angry this makes me feel.
To think this could have all been stopped one full year before Sandusky started that Second Mile abomination... I don't have language strong enough to depict my disgust.

He did what he was obligated to do. It's not his fault his bosses covered it up.
Posted on 5/5/16 at 7:24 pm to Rickety Cricket
It isn't what my morals are but it was he is legally obligated to do.
Do you even understand the law? You can't make an accusation without proof. He reported it.
It was up to Penn St not Paterno to decide how to act.

Umm, how about not renew an assistant coach's contract? And then, how about tell other potential employers who call off the record that you have reason to believe he is a pedophile?
Do you think that would have been very hard to do?

TJGator1215, I hope you never have kids. I hope no one is ever dumb enough to leave you alone with their kids.
Posted on 5/5/16 at 7:28 pm to lsupride87
The law is simply words written on paper by the govt. Saying he "did what he was supposed to" is assinine. He was informed multiple times his assistant coach was raping children and he was ok with it. In the eyes of any sane human being he is a POS guilty of aiding a molester
Posted on 5/5/16 at 7:28 pm to Jwho77
He had no first hand proof and as people said this wasn't brought until now, after the fact.
People are acting like Nifong in the thread.

No one is saying JoePa was a criminal. Well, at least that there is no evidence of him being a criminal.
What they are saying is that he was an enabler of child rape, and an utter piece of shite of a human being.

You're making this claim because of an unsubstantiated claim.
If it's true then, yeah I'll say let him get roasted but let this new stuff get sorted out.

If you know someone is raping children you tell the police, not your boss. Then you suspend that person pending due process
