So according to the forecasts, its showing weather to be in the 50s for the next couple of days... first time I've ever witnessed this is May, but wonder if that is gunna affect those trout that had already moved offshore? caught 95 smaller ones, but they were keepers at the rigs south of Cocodrie last Saturday. I thought it was about to blow up over the next few weeks, but this weather has me thinking. Anyone know what a cold spell this late does to the trout that have already moved to the islands and rigs?

A few cool mornings will not change the overall water temperature substantially. Trout will keep migrating to their spawn locations and keep eating anything in sight! If anything it might change the depth that they are suspended / feeding since the deeper water temp is unaffected by these short-term weather fluctuations.
