It seems like I'm always recommending Eureka Springs as a great regional destination for SEC fans, so I thought I'd post this really cool article from VIE magazine that sort of explains why the town is so interesting. Great pics as well.

Stayed there, we actually went right past Eureka Springs past the chapel and stayed in some cabins that were really nice.

Also pretty close to Branson

How would you compare ES to Hot Springs historical area? Wife and I love Hot Springs and stay at the Arlington at least twice a year. The hotel is pretty run down but we have never minded.

I have spent one night in Eureka Springs, it is a really small town, nothing like Hot Springs.

I went last summer and it was fantastic. Definitely taking my kids there one day.

Really good breakfast place, hole in the wall in that downtown Eureka Springs area, really good! Can't remember the name though.

If it was in a basement, then it was probably Mud Street Cafe.

If it was really a hole in the wall like with people cooking on a Colman camp stove, then it was the Oasis. Both are great.
