When I first got eatel Internet only it was part of the package. I got cable about 2 years ago and just canceled about a week ago.. Just tried watching watch ESPN and was getting an error so I called eatel tech support and they said since I canceled TV that got rid of the watch TV anywhere access.. I said I don't want to watch TV anywhere service, told him how it was when I first got Internet but he said that as long as he remembered it had been through the tv subscription. I specifically remember watch ESPN, Disney and one other program that came with just the Internet bundle. He said to call customer support on Monday and maybe they could help. Has anyone ran into this issue?
Long story short.. Canceled cable and lost watch ESPN when it originally came with the Internet package not TV package.

You can't watch TV based subscription apps without a cable subscription, man.
Why would anyone pay for tv?

It's always been tied to a cable subscription.

When watch ESPN first came out I seem to remember not being able to use it wth my charter Internet. Then charter added it and I remember seeing "powered by charter" while using it. I have always had dish for my tv so maybe it was based on your isp originally?

It was a very bad sentence.. I edited it.
And no not with eatel. When I first got eatel 3 years ago, I only had Internet service and there are three different things you could watch with the Internet service provider login. It was watch ESPN, Disney and I think the soap network. I remember watching them before I had cable subscription.

I'm telling you 3 years ago when I got eatel it was on the side of the Internet package options that said "included with your Internet package" as I stated above in a previous post.

ESPN3 used to be bundled with Internet, but it was not the same product as watch ESPN. ESPN 3 was just some select ESPN programming available over the Internet.

OK thank you, that is what it was. Appreciate the clarification.

GET SLING and you can have it back ASAP

Espn3 programming is through your ISP. ESPN TV programming is through your cable provider. Both are accessed on the watchespn app/site.

Could you do the same thing with Playstation vue? Either one or only sling?
Posted on 4/30/16 at 6:44 pm to CENLALSUFAN
Either.
Sling has the basic plus sports for $25 with only one stream at a time and vue has it for $35 with up to 5 streams on the same local network.
Eta:
Both will let you access watchespn but vue has more access to channel apps.

It's still this way. You can access games on watchespn that say ESPN3 if you have an affiliated internet service provider.
anything else on watchespn you need cable
