Not ashamed - Popeye's. It's good.
It's better than most places claiming to do good chicken. It spares me making my own except for that one time during the year I'm willing to clean up the post chicken fry mess and and clinging smell in my own home. I do in fact grade almost all fried chicken in this regard - "is it better than Popeye's?" On too many occasions than I would prefer, as I attempt to hack down some chef-specialized but underwhelming bird I will wish I was eating Popeye's instead.
Ashamed but will admit - White Castle Cheeseburgers, with ketchup, with pickle. I've taken cabs through White Castle drive-throughs by offering cabbies a sack of their own. I've stood dressed in black tie joking with drunks, trannies and other desperate junkies waiting for the steam-grilled, cardboard scented food like products to be passed through the revolving plexiglass.

Actually, they're both owned by Fiesta Restaurant Group ($FRGI). They're about to spin off Taco and focus on expanding Pollo, which currently is mostly in FL, with a handful of stores in TX, GA, and TN. Never been, but people say it's a top tier fast casual.

Had a Wendy's double w/cheese last night. It was nothing like I remembered. Very disappointing.
But, dipping my fries in my Frosty was as good as always!
