Making a trip to Cabo for the first time with my wife. We will be fishing one day. Is it hard to get the fish home? I didn't know if customs limited how much we could bring home.
Secondly...what's the best way to get them home and how much does it cost?

It's easy. You can put it in a cooler and they will give you dry ice. Then just duct tape the cooler shut and check it as baggage on the plane.

I recommend doing the Marlin fishing as opposed to the tuna. We went last weekend of May and caught 2 Marlins and a sailfish. Released all fish

Who are you fishing with? Most guys down there will just clean the fish and bring them to a local restaurant and the chef will prepare it several different ways and it is usually fantastic.

We brought back about 30 lbs of mahi in November. RedRum sells airline approved coolers in their office. Make sure they are good and frozen and check it like an additional piece of luggage. I don't think the airlines allow dry ice anymore but I could be wrong.

no dry ice on airlines, freeze solid, wrap in a bunch of newspaper and tape cooler shut. Any cooler is allowed on airlines, doesnt have to be approved. Pbly more trouble than its worth though

I brought home plenty in Oct. If you are fishing with Redrum, they will vacuum seal, and freeze it. On the day you leave, you can get it from them, and carry it on in soft sided ice chest or 2 as your carry on luggage.
