I had a guy wanting me to buy him gas at that Shell about a year ago.

2 guys sitting at the pump one day. I was trapped pumping my gas and they start telling me they work for CBI and need gas money to get to work in Grosse Tete. Some of their stories just make no sense. But a woman gave them $10

I would call every person in my phone to bring me money before I asked a stranger at a gas station.

Westheimer is 4 bums/intersection from gessner into the loop.

I don't know why the city can't pay them to pick up trash or some shite. $5/bag. I guess it is because they'd just go empty dumpsters or find some other way to scam the system.

Several years ago I stopped at a gas station in Welsh on my way home from the duck camp to fill up my truck.

As I pull up to the pump, there was a woman at the pump in front of my truck putting gas into a Toyota Corolla and crying. She was a white woman in her late forties, dressed decently and not trashy looking, car was in decent shape. So I get out and start pumping my gas and ask her if she's okay. She tells me that her 19 year old daughter who lives with her was injured in a car accident in Slidell and she's going to the hospital to see her. The injuries weren't life threatening, but had several broken bones and such. She had enough money to almost fill her car, but no other money and had been laid off from her job and was a single mother. I topped off her tank with my credit card and gave her a $20. She thanked me profusely and asked where I was from. I told her where I lived and I had a car lot.

About 6 months later, she pulls into my car lot. She had seen and remembered the name of my business from the license plate on the front of my truck and had gotten a new job and was looking for a newer car. She was giving the Corolla to her daughter, and bought a newer Camry from me.

So I got my $20 back with interest.

I had the "I'm traveling from Houston...have a job at some plant I forget which one...said he just needed enough gas to make it to around New Orleans..best part was bragging about the 'new job' that paid $35 an/hr

all such a joke.
