Which 90s camp movie is better. I was always partial to Camp Nowhere as a kid because it was way lighter in tone, but damn Stiller was priceless in Heavyweights.

Even as a kid? As an adult yes, Heavyweights far superior, I don't think I appreciated just how good Stiller was as a 10 yr old.

I'm a big fan of Camp Nowhere but Tony Perkis puts Heavyweights over the edge. It was pretty much the prelude to the character Stiller played in Dodgeball.

Yes, but in fairness, my entire family was big into Heavyweights. I owned it on VHS and watched the hell out of it. I just never owned Camp Nowhere. I think I saw it once and never watched it again. I watched Little Giants a shite load too. Those were just the movies my parents bought me.

I don't like how Perkis loses to those fat fricks, sends the wrong message. Camp Nowhere.

Camp Nowhere, because everyone get's to kiss someone at the end, and that's what matters.

Ben Stiller as Tony Perkis is easily one of his top movie roles.

Camp Nowhere is a classic 90s camp movie with Christopher Lloyd and a couple other known actors including a very young Jessica Alba. I think it actually came out a year before Heavyweights.

It was about a bunch of kids that started their own summer camp and told their parents they were going to the awful camps they wanted them to go to. It's essentially the exact same premise as "Accepted" that came out about 10 years ago with Justin Long, Blake Lively, Jonah Hill, and Lewis Black.

The mid 90s had a great run of summer camp type movies. Aside from Heavyweight and Camp Nowhere there was also Man of the House, Bushwacked, and of course no 90s summer camp thread would be complete without mentioning Hey Dude and Salute Your Shorts...classic.
