He did well at Auburn with players Dye already had at the school.
Bowden's recruiting left a lot to be desired - a lot of the kids he brought in were thugs his daddy couldn't use at Free Shoes U.
He also has an attitude problem, wants total control and wants things done on his time schedule.

his best years were the first two years, then it went downhiill rapidly from there.
