Right now 43 million in cap space for 2017, that doesn't account for the rise that will happen with the cap either.

You Panthers fans already aren't handling it well and he hasn't even signed.

Go ahead Saints, keeping spending money on the most overvalued position in the NFL.

I'm not handling it well? News to me. I thought it'd be funny to see Saints fans reactions?

But I heard from Panther fans he's an overrated malcontent who is a lockerrom cancer. This can't be good.

we aren't?

I'm just curious with what seems to be a delicate cap situation, you all would break the bank on a 29 year old corner when you have an entire defense that needs upgrading

i don't think signing Norman makes you guys contenders any time in the next two or three years, so be our guest

Saints fans in here are overreacting to our lack of overreaction.

I have a feeling that whichever team signs him is going to regret it.

Saints sign him he becomes the best CB in the NFL and Panthers fans will say he is average and the front 7 made him

And the Panther fans may very well be right.

He's good, but that system made him look better than he is.

And the last thing the Saints need is to blow the salary cap on what may be another Brandon Browner.

Signing Norman shores up the secondary, the LB crew is fine, and the DL needs another pass rusher/interior player which they can acquire in the draft. They are not as far off as you want. Will they be a top 10 defense? No but they can move to that 12-15 range and with that offense they become contenders.
