Oh I forgot to mention that a couple weeks ago I forgot my Fitbit in my pants pocket and my luggage got thrown in the back of a truck while making a drive on horrendous roads in Nigeria. It reported I had climbed 600 flights of stairs from bouncing around in the bed lol.

I average 25,000 steps a day. Record is 41,000.

Just over 40,000 is my highest in one day. My day looked like this:
2 mile walk with dog
8 mile run
rest
2 mile walk with wife and dog
threw the frisbee with wife with dog chasing for an hour
rest
2 mile walk with wife
This put me around 30,000. Then I got a phone call from a good friend of mine and we talked about a future job opportunity and I brainlessly walked around my living room while I was on the phone. We talked for just over an hour and I had walked close to 8,000 steps. When I realized I was at 38,000 I forced myself to walk 2,000 more outside just to do it. No joke, the next day I walked 6,000 which meant I sat on my butt almost all day long. I consistently get 15,000 on a normal day. More around 20,000 to 25,000 on weekends

You should assume 2,000 steps per mile, not 2,500.

I saw a lady awkwardly maneuvering around while in line at a coffee shop. I thought she sure looked fidgety..then I noticed the Fitbit on her arm. Just trying to get some steps I guess
