So many people in this thread trying to act like there isn't a serious problem in that locker room.

"There's still time left. They got their game faces on."

Come on. Even the most professional of teams get more excited than that when guys hit big shots. Let's not act like the Rockets are this bastion of work ethic and professionalism.

So Jay Wright was disappointed as well?

They do have locker room problems, but that reaction didn't have anything to do with it.

Coaches celebrate big shots too. Did you see any assistants celebrating?

They look relieved more than anything that Harden made that shot. They played hard and were winning all game and it would suck to lose right at the end of the game because of stupid mistakes. Looked like relief to me.

Yep. How'd they ever win with that much turmoil in the coaching staff?

So the two comparable examples are a single guy in the stands and a single coach? Not exactly the same as 5 out of 7 players on the end of the bench...

So what, are you telling me they would rather lose and they were not happy that they won? Why did they even bother trying at all this game? They played with more intensity on defense. If they wanted to lose, they wouldn't have bothered.

Get out of here with that nonsense.

They have the look of players whose team has been struggling and they didn't want to see another defeat after they worked so hard all game. They needed some positivity, and they were relieved that they were going to win.

No doubt everyone in this thread is just toying with you.

The irony of Pelitards populating these threads is that the Rockets' highly disappointing 2015-16 season is equal to the Pelicans GOAT season of 2014-15.

Are we considering the New Orleans Hornets and New Orleans Pelicans as two different organizations?

I thought I did, until I saw the way you used it in that sentence.

Can you educate me? I've never really know how to use it correctly.

In simplest terms: doing the opposite of what what was intended to be conveyed.

I.e. Hating on the Rockets for their disappointing season while actively supporting (and therefore calling attention to) a team whose awesome season of progress produced the same result.

Usually misused as a substitution for coincidence or sarcasm.
