I watched my grandmother die of brain cancer. That was hard especially seeing how much a person could actually suffer.
To OP:Good luck and do everything you can to be with him. I have no prayers to offer since I dont believe prayer does anything but waste my time. If it actually worked people wouldnt get cancer in the first place.

I have made it through my most difficult days only because of my faith.
So many people have walked out of my life. But faith got me through, and I pray that the OP finds this kind of faith.
You know what, prayer doesn't always change the outcome of a bad situation.
But it does change me.
It helps me deal with whatever I'm facing.
If not having any type of faith works for you and you're at peace, then good for you. But many of us are trying to offer comfort to the OP for a tough situation, and your response is a bit coldhearted.
I'm sorry you lost your grandmother.

God does not think small like men. For all you know this man is saved already and being called home, or this is the eye opening now or never moment that he needed. This is a time of love and confusion for their family. God willing, he will find peace.
