let's be honest, most people who smoke pot either live in apartments or don't have the drive to grow something. if you're growing it on a patio or whatever it would probably get stolen. I bet there would be HOA restrictions against growing it as well.
my 95% number might be high, but the vast majority of smokers wouldn't grow their own.

at the apartment thing because there is a lot of truth to that but if you have quality seeds, which everyone would have if it was 100% legal, growing outside is literally as easy as putting it in decent soil in the spring and harvesting it in the fall. And that's not even acknowledging the fact that even more than 5% would grow their own (they wouldn't), it still wouldn't be as good as the "good stuff" from out west. The main supply would still be bought.
