Winn Dixie maybe. Not WF.

We need to bring back tar and feathering for people like this.

Used to be that the baker would kick your arse for dragging his name through the mud. Now you get to lie, cheat and steal to advance your agenda and the person lied about has to apologize.
That's pretty fricked up.

Even Winn Dixie makes you check your cake before you leave.

The thickness (which this queer should know about) is totally different on the lettering.

It's obvious different tips were used to put down "fig" and the upper two words. Looks like he just bought a gel tube for "fig"

There's no way this isn't fake. If real, it doesn't make any sense...
Isn't "love wins" like the tag line that was used by pro gay-marriage folks after the SCOTUS ruling?
Is this alleged cake vandal supposed to be anti-gay? and if so, why use the phrase "love wins?" Even if used sarcastically it doesn't really make sense.
Or is the cake vandal supposed to be pro-gay and is acting hostilely towards the pastor because he's religiously affiliated? If so, why call him "fig" seeing as that's a derogatory term for homosexuals?
I'm really confused.

Bakers have gotten soft over the years.

side note:
the other day, i was wondering what happened to The Morning Benders (a SF band). I went to their page, where I found an apology because some f@g$ thought it was intended as a h0m0 slur. I guess like getting bent over in the morning. FML (to be clear, the "L" stands for "life," not surgically attached labia).
eta (pardon hijack but this is apparently old news so not new-thread worthy)--from their site:
quote:
1. We simply cannot go on using a name that is demeaning to the gay community. The reason we are making music is to reach and unite as many different kinds of people as possible, and the idea that our name may be hateful towards anyone makes us sick.
2. In the UK and many parts of Europe the name has simply become too distracting. The MUSIC has always been our number one focus, and we want to present that to people in as pure a way as possible
I know that many people around the world have grown to love the name "The Morning Benders," and understandably have memories and experiences associated with it. Obviously we can understand this, we've lived and breathed this band for 7 years. However, for those of you that know and follow us, you also know that we are committed to change. We've always promised our fans that we will never settle into a place that feels safe and easy, because that leads to boring art. It is true that we didn't anticipate this specific twist in the road when we set out on this musical journey, but we still like to think of this as merely a further embodiment of our commitment to change. We believe that it will only lead to new growth and excitement.
Thank you for your attention, your love, and your support.
From henceforth we shall be known as POP ETC
Uhm POP ETC means butt-cherry popping, obviously.
And twist clearly means sit and twist your butt on a penis.

Some YouTube video commenters are saying that the person who decorated the cake was gay, which would be hilarious, if true.

They are the genesis of generation offended IMO.
Need to put some real men back in charge of the bakery. As soon as women got involved it started going down hill.

Seems like pretty solid odds.

So they ran away from this "controversy?" How safe and easy.

There's no way that the Whole Foods in AUSTIN, which is staffed by extreme liberals, put a homophobic message on a cake. I'll believe that the events in Lord of the Rings actually occurred before I'll buy this story.

VERY high chance this is the case. I know that store well.

Who doesn't check the writing immediately after getting it? Nobody that's who.
This guy's story is that he took that box from the bakery department with that giant window on the top of the box, carried it to a checkout register (is that how it works at whole foods?), paid for it, then out to his car and drove off, and that whole time never even looked at it or somehow didn't notice the very conspicuous writing? Sorry, not buying it.

Well, you are what you eat.
And I bet after a long session of hot, sweaty, guy on guy action, he ate every last bite of that cake.
