Three of the top 4 teams are in the West, after that I'd say the East is better this year.

I think the conference is improving. There are some young talented teams in the East. The West is LOADED with star power. Free Agency in the offseason is going to be very intriguing. Do some of the best from the west head east at the same time keeping the players/teams together in the EC...

Yes acknowledging a multiple decade trend makes someone a drive by fan.

The has been shite for a very long time. Long enough for the commissioner to be actually open to the idea of getting rid of them when it comes to the playoffs.

.

Wtf does this have to do with this year?

The West has two historically good teams and two more teams that could easily win the East if placed in that side of the bracket.

No, those 2 more teams would have a hard time in the east as well, as their record shows.

GS
SA
CLE/OKC (push)
LAC

who gives a frick

One of the better teams in the East this year is Toronto, who is already down 0-1 to a meh Pacers team. No one has any faith in that team advancing until they actually do it.

I don't have as much faith in the Clips as you do.

3-6 in the East have been playing great ball coming down the stretch. I don't think they'll be pushovers this year.

The Celtics did win @ GS. There has been better overall quality of basketball played in the east this year. Make no mistake about it... After the 4 teams you listed in the West, the rest are horribly bad...

You are just so dumb some times

Who gives a shite about some random arse game on a Tuesday in the middle of February. The damn Grizzlies without Mike Conley, Zbo, and Gasol won in Cleveland a little over a month ago. You think that means anything? We are talking about winning a 7 game series where a teams entire focus is on one team.

I'm not the only one. Hell Stein had them 3rd in his last power rankings.

And Portland throttled that Miami team down the stretch and beat Boston as well.

I'm not argue about the bottom of the West being down because it definitely is. Issue is two of the teams people saw as playoff teams the Grizzlies and Pelicans have literally had 25+ players play minutes for them this season.

Houston's really the only team that has been a big head scratcher in the West. Portland and Dallas have been better than they should be.

The regular season only matters when it's convenient for you to shite on the east. You are a joke dude.

One season doesn't eliminate decades of data man. I realize you are horrible with numbers, but come on.

That's true... As much as I hate the west and their teams... They're better. Again, free agency this year could keep improving the east, but they're years behind the West at the moment.

Why are you talking about decades of numbers? We are talking about this year, not last year, not 3 years ago, not 10 years ago, but this year. I know you are a little slow but I know you can keep up.

As we sit here and talk about this, Detroit's lead is growing. My point is that these mid to lower seeded East teams are playing good ball right now. That has nothing to do with next year or last year or any other year. If you watch them, they're playing quality basketball and won't be pushovers.

The West has 4 of the best 5 teams in the league.
