I will be in San Francisco in June and want to spend a weekend in Napa. Any suggestions on where to stay? Favorite wineries? Best transportation?
TIA

Swanson Vineyards is a well hidden gem and worth checking out. Doesn't hurt that the Swansons are originally from New Orleans.

Get a limo. Enjoy the wine tours sans dui.

We will be there in late June also! We have been driving a little further north in the valley and staying in Calistoga. Small downtown but restaurants are great and all within walking distance. We stay at Luxe Calistoga B&B. The 4 course breakfast is awesome! As far as wineries, it depends on what wines y'all like to drink and your price point. A cheaper option for drivers instead of a limo is the services that use your rental car. They're usually half the price of a limo!

My favorite is the Francis Ford Cuppola Winery. Gorgeous grounds, museum with Cuppola memorabilia and insanely good restaurant

Kuleto winery is awesome. Take the tour and pack a picnic lunch. It's in the mountains overlooking Napa. You can chill for 1/2 the day and since tours are by appointment only there are very few people there. Great views and so peaceful.
