What was she like when you married her? How often did she workout? What were her eating habits?



All this. You can't control what she does, only what you do. Get yourself in amazing shape and she will follow your lead. Also, don't harp on appearance, focus on health.

Once you achieve man dime status, she will feel like a gremlin when she is out in public with you. Then, she will be having sugar free tic tacs for dinner.

Maybe, maybe not. She might not have the desire or feel the need to get in better shape.

If you have kids, will she resent the time you spend working out instead of helping with the kids or working around the house?

If you get in shape, you'll be a walking reminder that she isn't in shape. She's a woman - no one can say how she will respond.
