Doucet hyped it up on twitter as his "first interview since the bizarre end of the season." Wondering if anyone caught it and could sum it up for me. TIA

I didn't hear the interview nor know who this Doucet is.
But he probably said "the season was a disappointment". and "it's dffficult to gell with a bunch of new guys on the team" also "Simmons is a great guy and great player"
hope this was helpfull

Hornsby's to classy a kid to throw anyone under. I kinda though CJJ was too but he played the Trent left me shite card which really surprised and disappointed me. For all of my issues with CJJ and aspects of his coaching, I always though he conducted himself in a class manner. The Trent card seemed really out of character.

Solid interview from a solid guy. Said this team was maybe a bit immature and the part about kinda pouting about Ben and not putting out 100 all the time and fading away seemed to be dead on about TQ. Second part tonight

The interview we all wanted after 1/9/12 by the football team. Hornsby didn't wait at all. Kudos to him.

What's the betting line, the interview ends with "Well, folks...that's just the way it is"?

Somethings will never change, that's just the way it is.

Pressure does things to people.

A classy interview from a classy player, IMO. The team could've really used a fully healthy Hornsby for the entire year!

Yep, and it sounds like somebody in his ear telling him that too. I have an idea.

I saw it. Like Hornsby, he'll be missed. Apathetic about the entire damn thing at this point.

He did inherit JOBIII and Hickey along with morgan, shuga coleman and hammink who were all but committed. Not like the cupboard was completely bare but I always felt he looked at JOB as a poor fit for his "style", ran hickey off, morgan and shane xferred. Dude is grasping for straws at this point.

JJ is a "dead coach walking" IMO.
I still say he should have taken an NIT bid and played with kids that wanted to compete.

We could use more players like Hornsby. Not just a classy kid but he worked very hard too. Not bad for a kid that grew up wealthy (if not rich) and has a famous father.

In fact he inherited a better situation than any incoming coach in LSU basketball history, with the exception of Trent and even what Trent inherited was a front-loaded squad with several seniors leaving after his first year and serious APR concerns.
When you look at what Press Maravich, Dale and Brady inherited, the team CJJ got was miles ahead. That's the first time I've heard him try that and I hope it to be the last. Very disappointing.

Jones just needs to go at this point.

It would have displayed his complete loss of a team.
