Bieber seems to be in the 'pre-dreadlocks' phase at this point. It's not ok to like his music until his locks of love are at least shoulder length. You can't deny the swag of a early 20s white male that has shoulder length dreads of doom.

But, the Bieber remixes are usually better than the original. For some reason, his writers/producers give him double timed "mid tempo" songs to sing.
when the remixers take his double time songs (140 bpm) and go half-time, the songs get much better.
Just Like Timberlake and Chris Brown, Bieber is at his best singing r&b/pop mid-tempo ballads.
