This is so stupid.

A coach making $5 million a year or whatever has to study other schools to figure out how to throw the ball? At this stage of his career? For real?

Yeah, I am not expecting anything from this at all. More BS.

This is the way it works at ALL levels. Les has never run a spread so how else would he learn it? NFL guys have visited colleges to help incorporate spread concepts into what they do. Not saying I have faith that he will follow through with an overhaul but if that's his plan, this is exactly how you go about it.

Yea because spread is all about passing. Coaches have been sharing concepts and techniques for decades, prior to Miles.
No coincidence the most negative posters constantly derp.

Common practice for every coach in the profession. They all spend their offseasons visiting with each other and picking one another's brain.

So yes, it's for real and not stupid.

Its not about figuring out how to throw the ball as you say. It is about studying what kind of plays are successful at this level and era and what out of those plays can be incorporated in your offense. This isnt a swappimg or studying of playbooks it is a swap of tapes so that there is more material to go through mental reps and planning with
