I got home from work and he had torn open a bag of concrete. The concrete was everywhere and he had been tearing the paper into pieces. He's a 5 month old puppy and we are worried about him

I can't think of much in a bag of concrete that a dog would find appetizing...I'd bet he was doing more playing than eating. If not, he is going to have a case of constipation that is fit for the record books.

Get a trowel on him quick before he sets. Be sure to keep damp for a couple of weeks until fully cured.

It was just being a puppy and tearing up the paper. I'm sure it wasn't eating the concrete. Nothing to worry about.

Keep rotating the dog clockwise to keep the concrete from setting. When you are ready simply point his arse downwards and rotate counterclockwise and it will pour right out.

You need to tumble him in the dryer for about 5 mins

Spoonful of peroxide immediately, they will vomit within a few minutes.

Then search and find responsible owners for the dog.

Watch for persistent vomiting, significant abdominal swelling or pain. Pay extra attention to him for the next couple of days. He will probably be fine but take him in if in doubt.

I knew a dog that ate quikrete once. He was fine. He also was hit by like 2 cars and ate an entire bag of hersheys kisses too. We joked that he was confused and thought dogs had 9 lives too. He finally died at a ridiculously old age.

I say just wait it out. You'll have more concrete evidence when he takes a dump tomorrow

He will be fine. Mine did the same thing and he is perfectly fine. Stop worrying.
