Take them up to campus and let them learn to play against the exchange students (the ones that are good in math) and let them learn like I did.

Ask for Lee. If he isn't there ask for Le.

I'm not an a-hole so when I play with someone who serves illegally I just let them do it. They're honestly doing themselves a disservice because most illegal servers just try to hit the ball really fast as close to the table as possible, which is easy to return. My legal serve is much more effective than that and it usually gives people fits. If you can't beat a bunch of amateur teenagers playing frat house rules then you've got a lot more to worry about than illegal serves

I generally size up a player based on if they use a legal serve. If they don't, then I will specifically ask them prior to playing what kind of rules do they play. I will usually bait them into saying that it's ok to hit a serve anywhere as long as it bounces on the servers side first.

If they agree to that then I usually beat the hell out of them. But to be more fair and make it more interesting I will mix in some legal serves on my part. It's not that I don't get beaten or have people that I have a really hard time beating, but for the most part I crush people in this game.

I won my buddy $100 bucks one time for beating this guy who was undefeated in his circle of friends. The guy kept rematching me and got more pissed. I love a nice nonlegal serve match. Lots of easy points to be had.
