Here's a major one I've noticed from the Matrix: In order for Cypher to have betrayed Morpheus and the others, he had to have had an accomplice, particularly Tank or Dozer. Cypher could not have uploaded himself to the Matrix and ratted them out without someone else knowing this. This is a clear plot hole if one of them isn't in on it.

Cypher is the real "The One"

and LeTigre, but there were subtle differences.

But I agree with you in the general sense, no way Ferrari and LeTigre or even Blue Steel could have stopped that Ninja star.

Magnum, when done correctly, alters the space-time continuum and easily allows Derek to stop Mugatu's star.

I mean c'mon guys

The biggest plot hole from a movie I love that immediately comes to mind is Tom Hardy's "sometimes you have to dream bigger" line and BFG in Inception. If that's possible, what's the point of half the conflict in the movie? In a shoot out? Just conjur up AIDS or a nuke to take out the bad guys. Need to move a bomb from a hotel room to an elevator? No you don't, just go to the elevator and think up another bomb.

I think agent smith is the real one. He's like a virus to the matrix

Jurassic Park explained right here. I got nothing for the T-rex showing up in the welcome center. Or why it was so fricking hard for Tim to climb down that fence. He just stands there like an idiot yet didn't really have much trouble with a tree?

What difference does that make? It could be in meters, there is no foot apostrophe on the diagram..

The diagram covers that hole regardless.

In the Santa Claus and other Christmas movies, since the parents don't believe in Santa claus, how do they explain the presents Santa leaves under the tree for them every year?

What?

As to Cypher,

quote:

According to the Wachowskis, Neo interrupts Cypher writing a script (some kind of automated operator) that will enable him to enter and leave the Matrix without a human operator present.

WachowskiBros: Cypher, at the beginning of this scene, is setting up an automated system to allow him to go meet with Agent Smith.
As to how he got the jack into his head, we're left to assume that he simply reached behind himself.

In Independence Day, when they shoot down the alien ships, it's daylight all around the world.

This reminds me of a plot hole in Heroes: there's a world wide global eclipse that people from Japan to the Eastern Seaboard can see at once. During Season 3 they make this even more ridiculous by having a Solar Eclipse last for 6 hours worldwide as well, instead of 8 minutes like an Eclipse should last.

Ocean's Eleven... how did they get the bags of fake money (hooker ads) in the vault?

Gravity... too many to list but mostly the whole movie is impossible because you can't just zip around to different orbits like that.

Interstellar... waaaaay too many to list. The entire movie is just plot holes on top of plot holes.

The Martian... a big one that really didn't bother me that much is the Martian atmosphere is not dense enough to create the violent dust storms with enough force to tip over the ship.

I'm sure it has been mentioned, but The Lord of the Rings and not using the Eagles to go to Mordor. I know there has been given an explanation why they did to but it's weak.

If they would have flown in on the Eagles, Sauron would have seen them and sent the flying Nazgul to eat them. Game over.

The Eagles are a symbol of divine intervention. They stay out of the affairs of man and only interfere after he has passed his test. You can consider that weak, but a lot of Tolkien comes back to Christianity.

Well, Cypher had a steak dinner with Smith. Someone had to have put him there. He couldn't have done it on his own.

Unless you buy into the theory that the "real world" was simply another layer of the Matrix.

Iron Man 3 contains about 3 minutes of Iron Man, maybe that's why it got its name. In fact, Pepper Pots is the hero, and Iron Man isn't in the movie.

False.

Tony Stark is Iron Man. Iron Man is Tony Stark. He explicitly states this multiple times throughout the movies.

The Eye of Sauron would have seen them coming from miles away if all the sudden a swarm of giant arse eagles were flying directly towards Mordor. A full frontal attack would have been f-ed in the b w/quickness.
