Best one I ever heard from her was a kid who was shot 7x with .45 and stumbled into the emergency room. So take it or leave it.
Everyone screams that lightweight rounds (not the purely polymer and epoxy junk) don't work. But in my experience a handgun round that enters, expands to max size in a very short distance, and then splits into 4 or more chunks creates a more catastrophic wound channel before creating a series of smaller exit wounds. It may not show that large exit wound, but the internal damage is more extensive.
I'm fine with people disagreeing, but a boar hog is tougher than any man.
