Jimbo is the wildcard in this, and I think he gets it.

I think it will be Petrino and TT knows it. BP is ready to leave Atlanta and Auburn has always wanted him. He will be their answer to Saban at Alabama.

KNWA interrupted live programming to report that Tommy Tuberville would be the next head coach of the Hogs. They posted a very wishy-washy story online to that effect.
In a pre-recorded segment on tonight's Tiger Talk radio show, Tuberville said he planned to continue talking to Auburn officials over the next week about ways to upgrade the program and take it to "another level." He never denied interest in other jobs, but repeated what he said a few weeks ago: "As long as they want us here, we'll be here."
He also said, "I'm not looking to go anywhere; I'm trying to get what we need to get better."
UPDATE: Athletic Director Jay Jacobs told the Press-Register that no one from Arkansas has contacted him and that he expects Tuberville to return as Auburn's coach based on the "great" meeting they had on Tuesday.

Wish he would come here. He's a big game coach, surely.

I blew it off when I heard this today but a talk radio show I was listening too said Tubby was duck hunting in Stuggart, AR with some folks today. Must have been true.

Tubbs goes every year to hunt there. I heard Auburn met him on all of his new requests but the buyout. They would not lower it. He asked for upgrades in Facilities, More money for him and coaches and to lower his buyout.

Oh, ok...just coincedence I suppose that he's in AR during the week that talk is going on about him taking the job in Fayetville. How gullible are you?
