More Aussie players? Is Johnny on to some solid recruits?

I guess we can fire David Patrick now, right?

Johnny won't be the coach, so who knows.

How about fire Jones then pull Malone's scholarship? The biggest waste of a basketball scholarship.

For 2017 Louisiana has 4 players who will probably be national recruits. Maybe 2 or 3 of those guys will be in the top 100 (though no 5 star type players). The downside is that there are no big men, which LSU desperately needs. The tallest guy is 6'6", though I guess he could always grow.
The 2018 class has Guard, Javonte Smart from Scottlandville. He's a national top 5 player who is probably the best LA prospect since Greg Monroe in 2008. LSU is going to have to beat out the big boys to get him. Baton Rouge also has Forward, Josh Leblanc at Madison Prep. He could be in the top 30 when it's all said and done.

Except for that that 7'0 C with perimeter skills that plays for Chalmette but is committed to Texas A&M.

Leblanc is in the Top 30 in a lot currently. Also, Greg Williams from Lafayette Christian and quite a few others.

Forgot about him. Isn't he originally from somewhere other than Louisiana?
Either way, that's the second good prospect Kennedy has gotten from Louisiana in recent years. You know he is going to hit NOLA hard along with both Avery Johnson and Mike White. If Jones loses his grip on Baton Rouge (which seems to have an inordinate amount of good basketball players every year), then he is almost worthless at LSU.
I still think now is the perfect time to make a change. Salvage whats still on the team, and get a quick jump on the future. Putting this off for one more year could have a significant effect on the future of LSU basketball

Not sure Avery will have a lock down on anything. He isn't getting Terrance Ferguson now... guess the rumors about him wanting to be in NBA are hurting his recruiting.
Mike White is interesting but not sure he pulls NOLA hard either. Miss St though has solid footing there so it's possible they move in.
Kennedy is a threat with Adidas (Same with Miss St) which has a lot to do with Mitchell (yes he's from Florida).
