I keep very little USD in the house, around 2k in the freezer. I keep a decent amount of Sing in the safe. It sounds silly, but my ancestors have had to make a run for the border in more than one country because of war, rebellion, genocide, and so on.

it is not silly at all...in this country, we have grown to enjoy the relative peace and security that resulted from the vision of our founding fathers. that can go away quickly if our society continues to move away from that vision...
