No bad losses, 10-8 regular season record, 2 bigt wins so far, one against the conference champion, and they are out?

I don't think a 22 win Big ten team has ever been shafted by the committee. Either this Italian man is being a silly frick, or this year is weird

Michigan has 4 top 30 RPI wins.

Palmer just said it would be unprecedented to keep us out

Our worst loss is on the road to the RPI #73 team. 4 Top 25 wins. 10-8 conference record. 2 RPI Top 25 neutral site wins.

Only one good win OOC, and lost a lot of games by double digits this season is the only reason I can think of.

They should be in.

I guess it's because they are 3-11 against RPI-100.

Eisenberg on Yahoo says it's only 4 top 100 wins.

10 wins in the B1G used to be auto-bid. I guess it's been diluted.

this plus only a 10-8 conference record is a pretty crappy stat. But they probably will get in but 3-11 is pretty awful.

They're going to get in without question. Will they win a game? Doubtful. But enjoy the bid.

Like him or not, Lunardi is always spot on this time of the year. He's not good at seeding, but he usually hits the field of 68 right on. I thought my MSU Bulldogs who had 23 wins in 2010 and lost in OT to Kentucky in the SEC Championship were a lock, but Lunardi kept them as the first four out and they indeed didn't make it. Same for the 2012 team with 21 wins. Dude usually hits the nail on the head.

Vanderbilt's RPI is currently higher (barely), and they played a tougher SOS.

Both teams are dogshit against the RPI top-100.

I could see the argument for neither getting in.

Going 10-8 in big ten is equivalent to going 14-4 in the sec

Good thing Lunardi doesn't pick the teams then.

not big ten is the key in that sentence.

the one bid schools can have 2 wins over tournament teams, but 2 losses, one in regular season on the road in OT and lose in the conf tourney finals and they are in the NIT in a 700 mile one way road game to a Big ten with a 14-13 record.
