I'm in need of a new blender, and I'm trying to decide if the difference between commerical grade Waring and regular kitchen aod stuff is worth it.
Anyone have experience with either?.
Will be used twice daily every day.

My buddy has a 700$ vitamix, that is out of my price range.
I live like a pauper.

Vitamix will be the standard answer. But I have a nutri-bullet that I use once a day and it does everything I need.

We have a Ninja and its been fantastic. The three standard answers here will be BlendTec, Vitamix and Ninja with Ninja coming in on the low end.
But again, I use mine weekly if not a little more often and it's always been badace.

My wife would learn going to the store unattended is a privilege not a right.

I love infomercials. All of them. I think Julie Brown is in the "audience" of that one with a moo-moo and cigarette.

It depends on how much you use it. The Waring commercial blenders are up the task of being used for lengthy prep work every day. They're overkill if you aren't using a blender that way. But it will last forever for typical home use.
Typical consumer blenders can't stand up to some kinds of work at all. I make hot sauce for example. I went through 20 blenders or so over the course of two years before buying a Waring 1 gallon commercial blender. I bought it used and it is still in great shape after 5 years. Get just a little salt and vinegar in a typical consumer blender and they lock up.
I have a Ninja for home use. The capacity isn't all that great, but the convenience and ease of use can't be beat. Having the motor above the mixing container solves the problems of whatever you are mixing getting into the bearings.
