YES!!! I understand those who feel betrayed BUT come on people!!! Look at what he did for this program and the thousands of Tiger fans who were able to witness and be a part of our Tigers on top of the football world winning the championship. How can you say No!! He went to the NFL because it was his dream. Figured out that college football and his influence on kids was his calling. The man's leadership brought us into the National spotlight!

Everyone, go watch a copy of the 2000 Tennessee game. Transplant yourself back to that time where we went to the games just to have a good time and drink from the flask until you couldn't smell the remaining alcohol vapors. Think how it felt after that game was over - the jubilation and the understanding that LSU football was back on the map.
I will take him back. No hard feelings. He knows he fricked up.

No Way. Does anybody want to go through the same stuff we went through when Saban was here during his previous LSU coaching days. Like every year having to deal with Saban's name being mentioned as a possible candidate for the latest head coaching job. I think once Joe P retires from Penn St, Saban will put his name into the mix or who knows maybe even the Notre Dame job after Charlie Weiss is fired. People.....We need to move on!

One great year (2003), one surprise year (2000), one got better as the year went on, ie, post ole miss, (2001), two ok years (2002,04)

he knew he made a mistake halfway into season one with Miami. He and genius Sexton tried to find the Hat a suitor for employment so he could return, but to no avail. Now is his chance to return. My take is this...is he better than Spurrier? No...Is he better than the Moron Hat? HELL YES!!! Anyone remember Oklahoma's 4th down play in NC game?? I had been drinking since 9 a.m. but I'm pretty sure those f-ers blitzed. F Miles!
