I say sure.. He can be the veteran presence to help the young receivers out.... At least for the right price...

Scott Chandler was the token "guy who routinely killed the Patriots" free agent pickup. He couldn't block at all and showed literally zero ability to catch the ball.

I always wish we would have signed him when he left Carolina!!!!

I've watched most of his career. As a TE2, he's a good option and more productive than you give credit for.

Probably should but we won't.

He had a couple of solid weeks that helped my FFB team
It was at a crucial time too
He's not that bad

And if you go back to him starting in buff he was a 45 catch 550 yard and 3-4 td kind of player.
He plays smaller than anyone I've everyone seen with a frame that big (doesn't block great, won't high point many balls, not going to truck any tacklers), but he's a very good 15 yard threat on seam routes and such

I wish the Saints could get a Josh Gordon from Cleveland. That's the type of player they need, but Cleveland will never let him go despite all his off field issues. Imagine Brees throwing to him. The type of production they would get with an explosive WR like that.

Yeah and a billion drops too.
With how injured New England was this year, especially in the pass catching department, he should have had 50+ catches. He ended up as a TE3 on the team, as Belichick played a blocking only tight end over him.
Yes he's had some past success, but he showed nothing in NE that would make me think he is worth anything this year.
