I usually have something I'm preparing for that I focus on looking forward to. Whether it's training for a race, getting ready for a golf weekend with buddies, getting ready for a fishing tournament, or have a vacation to look forward to. In the grand scheme of things...none of this matters but it's just little challenges for myself to keeping me motivated and excited about something.

This is a good question. I really don't have a straight answer, I guess it'd be my passion for travel and all the things associated with new cultures: food, people, lifestyles, etc.
There's no point in trying to dwell on the past when there's a lot of unknowns with the future. Why deal with someone who's a bitch or a douche when there's millions of other people and things out there that you've never experienced yet.
