Isn't he a lab chessie mix or did I dream that up? If so why would you trial him??? Is it just something you enjoy doing? He cannot obtain titles without papers.

My little guy isn't registered but that's not why I got him. I got a best friend and a great hunting partner and that's all I wanted. I'm sure he could run a few hunt tests with ease, it's just not something I'm interested in. My greatest reward is watching him hunt well and knowing I trained him to do it.

But to each his own.

No he's full blood with papers. I've got his lineage for about 12 generations.

Too add to that I agree with the reward side of things. And I prolly wouldn't breed him without papers. Creates confusion in the dog world.

Yeah he's a chessador, I guess that's the correct name?

I enjoy working and running him. I know I wouldn't be able to receive any points or titles. But he can get ribbons. I spend a few days a month at the trainers while they run dogs and it's just something I enjoy doing.
