True but I know that TWD will loose a bunch of viewers if Darryl gets killed off.
I think the only one that could die and not piss off a lot of viewers would be Carl or Glenn. I would hate to see Glenn go but I'd rather him then Darryl. Although this show has shown that it will forge its own identity so we will have to wait and see what happens.

I would bet on this being false. If Daryl ever does get killed off, TWD will just have another badass character show up and keep people watching

Daryl ain't going anywhere.

Glenn needs to die, as does another major character, maybe Daryl or Michone (not going to happen), perhaps Carol (would hate to see it, but she seems to be in the shadows at present), hopefully Morgan. Enjoy TWD immensely, but protecting big names makes show somewhat complacent. Time to shake it up. Interested to see how Jesus evolves, anxiously awaiting Negan.

None of that makes sense to me.
Unless you're talking about comics in the "No Comics" thread. Or there's something I'm missing.

I would be surprised if anyone dies that we care about until the finale. lots of clues that it will be Daryl but my guess is it will be Abraham or sasha

Exactly, for a NO COMICS thread there are a lot of people talking about things we haven't seen on the show.

Everyone knows Daryl is not in the comics. Everyone knows plot lines for the TV series are lifted from the comics. The new characters that will arrive from the comics crowd Daryl's place in The Walking Dead. It just seems to me focus has to be moved from some characters in order to give time to the new. The story has to move forward. Characters have always died in this series and will continue to do so. But the writers have demonstrated the TV series doesn't have to follow the comic.

I know, I'm the one who started the official comics thread.
It's not that hard to not make mention of the comics at all in this thread. For example, don't mention the group you previously mentioned, as they haven't been named yet on the show. Also, don't make a big deal about the appearance of a new character you know is a big deal in the comics. This tips off the nonreaders that this character could be a big deal on the show, spoiling the surprise for them.
I'm telling you this before Cocomo does, as bad things can happen when Cocomo has to tell you.

Last week was shark jumping territory after an awesome mid season premiere. Hopefully this week is better.
