You're going to tell me that if you were the HC at Michigan for 3 years, went 33-6, and then LSU called that you wouldn't go running home to mama? please. It's no different. get off his back.

I don't see too many people ripping him anymore. Most would like to offer words of encouragement and best wishes to him now.

I just read through several different threads calling him worse than he who shall not be named.

Not mad yet.
He needs to do it quickly and not let it drag out. I would say immediately after the SECCG.

It seems to me that it has been a known fact that Les would go to Michigan if Carr ever left and They offered him the job. Hell that is why LSU has a 1.5 Mil buyout clause if Les goes to Michigan. That clause does not apply if he should go to any other University. Heck fellows we been hearing this for 3 years.

Expect a Tuesday news conference that Miles is the next coach at Michigan. The wheels are already turning in the LSU athletic dept. The names are very impressive!

I don't hold no ill will against him should he leave. He has been kind to LSU , sure the ball got dropped with all of this but at least we can hold our head up about the other one leaving. Look at our record over the past few years under Miles. I can not complain about that so why this?
We all knew this three years ago that's why we have the buy out. I mean when you get the opportunity you always take it if it's what you really want right? Well I just hope that if it does happen the names are already out there and are impressive like some of you may think. I don't know but I have a feeling or at least hope we find out something soon. Perhaps like shortly after this weekend? I mean we have the HC in a job position as well as our DC taking interviews. Not a good sign for us at all, Something has to be going on behind closed doors...
Seems like someone pulled the E-Brake on us decisions need to be made quick because it shows.

I would rather see people ripping him for considering Michigan than people ripping him for not being a good coach. If he wasn't top notch than a school like Michigan wouldn't want him regardless of where he went to school. We are going to lose one good coach.

I promise not to rip him for leaving if you promise not to rip me for thinking he is a terrible football coach.
And he is (don't have time to debate it right now - have to go to work).
But, Exhibit A - crappunt
Exhibit B - failure to play anything resembling an aggressive gameplan since the Tulane game
Exhibit C - failure to sub players in and out leading to way too tired vets and way to inexperienced newbies next year
There's more, I have hated him as a coach since he got here. He is a great man with tremendous character but a good football coach he is not. Nor is he a mediocre football coach.
