I ain't white, and if I saw this, I wouldn't go. Racist/sexist/poor assholes running the joint. Just because someone works hard, is in a stable mental state, and was born with white skin, they shouldn't be discriminated against.

Also, this is ingenious marketing. The chances I would have heard of this comedy show before this stunt was basically nil. Now they're being talked about all over the place. Regardless of their policy, I'm pretty confident they'll have a packed house for the event.

Great publicity stunt, but it is no more legal than if bakers in Oregon charged $300 for a straight wedding cake and $1300 for a lezz wedding cake.

Trump-style branding and marketing. Do/say something outrageous to draw attention and then reap the benefits many times over.

Not really, the fee is not for admission, is the application fee for being a performer.
The "discount" is for early bird application, but only minorities or LGBT folks can apply early. Straight white men can't apply early. Technically, a gay female person of color could be forced to pay the full comedian application fee if she/xe applied too late to be a performer.
But none of that matters because this is just a publicity stunt. Does it surprise anyone that she also has a Gofundme page. Angry comedians
eta: A gender based admission discrepancy would pretty clearly be illegal in NY.
