They will be able to compete. Just with one less kid who happens to be their best player. Boo Hoo. They don't own the kid. He doesn't "belong" to their district. He's a free human being and he can do what he wants. Like you and I do. And maybe some other kid, not quite as talented, gets an opportunity to play HS sports that he would not have otherwise had. And maybe the Coach realizes at the HS level, that's what counts. Kids being educated,going to class, playing sports,chasing girls, etc. It's not all Friday Night Lights bullshite.

Trust me, I'm no IMG fan. But that is the kind of thing that comes along with living in a country where people are the architects of their own lives.
