I have an ankona cayenne, and when it's just me (I'm not a big dude) and I don't bring an ice chest, I can get through 4 inches.
Now I have to be clear, I'm just saying I can get through it. I'm not saying it's easy or something I do routinely. But if I need to get through a flat with 4-6" of water to get to the other side, I can do it. Or if I'm blown or dragged into the bank, it's no problem.
You can see that here in this video where I was blown into the bank and all I do is pull the trolling motor up to get out of it. At that point the trolling motor is in about 3-5" of water and the stern of my boat is in 6-8."
