Why is he so expensive, is he needed for the UL Boss Calvin Johnson or something?

Nope, just the position hero and a couple other sets. He's expensive because he's rare. I've opened several thousand packs and never pulled him. I think EA took him out of packs to make him even more rare.

Holy shite, I just made the most incredible comeback in my Madden career.
Down 12 with 2 minutes to go, he's got the ball, chew clock on, he throws a pick and Eric MOTHERfrickING Berry takes it 90 yards for a TD. He had to break 6 tackles and criss cross the field, but he made it.
He gets the ball back, I stop him on 1st and 2nd down, 1 timeout left, he throws a pick to Woodson, my ball, 30 seconds left, on his 45.
2 quick outs, Verticals, Dez jumps 30 ft in the air and comes down with TD, THROW UP THE X.
17 seconds left, I lead by 1, he gets 2 first downs, then Woodson gets another pick, breaks Tom Brady's ankles and I dance into the endzone for the exclamation point. NO TIME LEFT. Before I could kick the PAT:
"The connection to your opponent has been lost"

Good shite lol. My best comeback to this day was in Madden 2010 actually. Came back down from 21 in the second half to bring it to OT where Malcolm Jenkins got me the GW pick 6.
Also, anyone have any elite WRs they don't need? I'm 20 pieces away from 99 overall Julio Jones. Someone is auctioning off the 89 Calvin Johnson and it's at 6800 right now. Unfortunately, it's on the block for 22 more hours, how high you think the bidding will go?

At least 150K, probably 200k. It's crazy how much that card is going for.
If you've played against someone with that Julio Jones, you understand why. It's basically like having a Boss Megatron. Almost impossible to defend 1 on 1.

It ended up selling for 300k on the dot and yea, I picked both of them. I actually follow Toke on youtube so I know he's got his game locked up. Finally, a few other things MUT needs in Madden 17.
1. Supersim
2. Sell Unlimited contracts for 50k or 100k or something. You can't buy any with real money, so just give us an option to buy unlimited ones, please.
3. Sets have got to become easier, this game is all geared towards spending real money and that pisses me off like no other.

Toke does have an Xbox team, he uses it to test new players. I'm pretty sure EA juices his packs.

Eh, Toke is one of those guys who is made by his players in my opinion. He throws A LOT of deep balls and just genuinely relies on his guys to make amazing plays because they're 99 overalls. I will give him this though, he's amazing on defense usering Sean Taylor.

People are willing to spend money on this mode and EA gears it towards getting you to spend more? Color me shocked.
You're dreaming if you think that's going to change. Until people stop spending money, that's how it will be. Personally, I think the idea of even spending a dime on a mode of a game you already paid $60 for is idiotic.

I wonder how much they make off of MUT alone compared to the actual game. 2K has since started following EA's model of [This player had 50 pts once upon a time in a game in December, he's now in packs as a 97 with 90+ EVERYTHING] and people will see that and want him because he's a top player. 2K13 had the perfect card game mode.
Anyways, MUT is a lot of fun for the first 3-4 months. After, it becomes stale. I have found myself back in it though (the Journeys aren't bad IMO)

frick Salary Cap mode and Journey 4, this is some garbage bullshite. Plus the game update broke the regular Ultimate Team H2H.

Yeah, truth be told, I'm running thin on this game mode. Sets are killing me coins wise and you just don't make enough solo mode to really do any damage unless you spend hours grinding.

So if any of you guys want, I'll probably be giving away my team as I believe I'm done with Madden. Vols, I'll give you Steve Young as you gave me the SB 23 badge so, you can get yourself a good 250k for him. But let me know how you guys feel and I'll try to do what I can to give these guys out.
