2006 was fun...but we had a top 5 NBA talent, SEC player of the year, 5 star hyped recruit, 2nd generation LSU basketball player, and a little lethal 3 point specialist. They played team ball with tons of energy and a small bench.
The talent left the program we have never came close to replicating any kind of run, 10 years of bad teams kills support especially when there is no promise or signs of improvement.
This is the most talent we have had since then and we are still looking at NIT unless we go on one hell of a run to close.
