Top 5 Coaches on Your List to Replace Les Miles..

Who do your guys have in your Top 5?
Here's mine.
1) I know a lot of people hate it but you have to believe that Tommy Tubberville will be in the front running for our job vaccancy at years end.
2) Nick Saban .
Don't shoot me guys, I just think that he loves this place and would love to come back. IMO, I would love to have Nicky back at LSU.
3) The Ole' Ball Coach
I think he sees the talent that we have and would love to be in Baton Rouge with this offense. I think he might have a short memory about the time we stood him up back when he was coaching DUKE.
Although age may play a factor in the decision that LSU is going to make, we're looking for a long term guy. The downside is the defensive side of the ball.... Why not bring in Mushchamp?
4) Rich Rod.
Though a long shot, this guys has his team in the drivers seat of the National Championship picture. He was about to sign the dotted line with Bama but heard how horrible the place really was.
5) Bobby Petrino
This guy has a history of winning. You can't tell with the Falcon's but he did lose his best player on an already very average team.
On the other hand look at Louisville this year.. Those guys aren't nearly what they used to be, they really miss Petrino.
I just wanted to give my opinion and listen to what you guys have to say.

Hmmm...let's see...
Tubberville: 8-4
Nick Saban: 6-6
Spurrier: 6-6
Rodriguez: 10-1 with a loss to South Florida???
Petrino: 3-8
Yep, you're a certified IDIOT...
NO coach is perfect...Miles is a good guy and a good coach who will learn from mistakes and will consistently keep our team among the top 10 in the nation.

That is the funniest thing I've read in a long, long time. Spurrier brings that up every chance he gets. He won't let it go. He's a very immature bitter person in my mind when it comes to things like that. I also don't think he'd be a good choice for us. I think the game is beginning to pass him by. He's in his 60's and I don't think he will take another job after he leaves SC.

I like Spurrier but don't think he would be here longer than 5 years.
Tubby next. I think he would jump for a chance to coach and recruit at LSU. Could be here for 10 yrs.
Don't like Tubby but he can coach and win here.
Don't want Saban back for free.

Certified idiot? Name five better coaches IF Les leaves than that list. Granted, I hate the idea of Saban coming back but that is a damn good list. I don't think their all that possible, but damn good list.

Butch Davis has got to be on your list.

Don't fool yourself; Saban doesn't love anyone but himself. He would love to come back here because he hates Alabama and knows the perks of this job.

I think Butch just signed a new contract and likes being in N.C. I don't think he's looking for the "next best thing." I would love to be wrong, but I think he won't leave.
